RE: I have dry eye syndrome, and have been unable to wear my normal contact lenses for the last two years. Every couple of months I try to start wearing them again, but my eyes get so dry, red, and painful that I have to stop wearing them after only a few hours. I have tried Acuvue Advance (1 and 2), Dailies, Acuvue Oasis, and Night & Days semi-permeable lenses. None of these have helped me at all. I did an internet search for 'dry eye contacts' and found your website.

I use a special plastic lens and solution system for people with dry eyes. Your eyes can be more comfortable with the lenses on than off. You would have to come here for a consultation so that we could determine your options. I have had many patients with your issues and was able to help them.

Thanks again for the consultation yesterday. I am really responding well to the contacts so far - I was able to wear them for the rest of the day yesterday. Amazingly, they were still moist when I took them out. I guess that is testament to the quality and water retaining composition of the lenses. I'll contact you as soon as I've tried the dailies and let you know which one is the best option. After so much frustration and going about in circles with my dry eye problem, I am so pleased to have met you. Glad to have your perspective on the problem, as it's obviously the best opinion I've yet encountered.

Your web page refers to disposable contact lenses up to -16.0 diopters. Could you tell me the brand? My eye doctor claims he is unaware of disposable lenses that strong. Also, if I were to provide my prescription information, could you provide the lenses?

Hi,
I just found your web site, and read all about the contact lenses.
I am a high myopic with around -20 diopters on both eyes.
I visit eye doctors on a regular basic, but 
I wish to know is there anything better out there that is more promising for such conditions as mine, and is not known to my ophthalmologist??
I am sending this message to you, to find out what kind of lenses are custom made contact lenses and is there something better for me to help achieve better vision??
The lenses I have are very thick and uncomfortable soft lenses.

I have no history of vision problems nor do I have any desire for vision correction. I am interested in cosmetic colored lenses - my focus is on green. Are they safe to wear? I just want to know if these contact lens will be ok for me i dont need glasses but want to change my eye colour.

Properly fitted cosmetic lenses are just as safe to wear as regular lenses provided that you follow the proper care regime. The biggest issue is that cosmetic lenses sometimes are not worn very often. It is important to refresh the disinfection solution weekly.

RE: I have recently been diagnosed with a condition called INO. It causes me to have double vision in my left eye. Because of this I have to wear a patch to work and drive. I hate the patch and I am looking for another alternative until my eye recovers to normal. I wear glasses but I am not looking for prescription contacts just yet as I have astigmatism in both eyes. I would like a single contact with a black pupil to wear until my condition is resolved so that I can wear my glasses. Also, to make matters worse, I am in my parents 50th wedding anniversary and do not wish to wear the patch for that ocassion. PLEASE HELP!!

I HAD LASIK SURGERY 6 YEARS AGO.mY RIGHT EYE SURGERY WAS FINE, MY LEFT EYE SURGERY,AFTER 2 RETOUCHES, ENDED UP WITH IRREGULAR ASTIGMATISM. I have had Keratoconus for 20 years and have seen many eye doctors and contact lens specialists. My eyes are extremely uncomfortable when I wear the contact lenses. My eyeglasses are useless even though it is a brand new prescription. My Doctor has told me that my eyes are not bad enough for cornea transplantation, but I can not wear the lenses more than six hours a day. I am confused and do not know what to do.
